St. Brigid's Academy and Seminary
St. Brigid’s Academy and Seminary is a free, private, Earth-based religious oriented, college-level educational facility dedicated to teaching the gentle ways of the Wiccan Path, founded in 2005. Also available, through our separate Seminary School, are the necessary training requirements for those who choose to become legally ordained as Wiccan ministers. We now have one campuses located in (Fresno Ca campus closed in 2016) in Upland/Rancho Cucamonga CA (now our main campus) directly serving Los Angeles and San Bernardino (Inland Empire areas) counties and, indirectly, San Diego County. Internet classes are also available to students unable to physically attend SBAS.

We reorganized classes in 2010 and again in 2013 and 2015, and eliminated, combined or re-wrote about 25% of our curriculum. We currently offer about 165 classes. We continue to adjust our curriculum to meet our students requests and requirements. In 2014-15 we are adjusting our Seminary curriculum and offering 36 additional classes toward ordination as a Minister. There are three full Professors and three Instructor as paid staff between our two campuses. The school is open to all who have interest in learning about Wicca and who can meet our minimal qualification requirements. Coursework is generally user-friendly but can be extremely intensive and serious dedication is required to maintain student status. We will always work with the student who is having problems.
Curriculum Updated
Currently, there are no fees charged any student. There may be some materials costs for the student from time to time, based on the class material provided. This is usually less than $20 per year if charges are actually incurred! Additional costs may be realized by purchasing suggested (recommended but not required) books used in some classes or additional materials the student wishes to have. When fees eventually become a necessity, as they likely will be in this economy, they will be highly affordable for nearly everyone.

For those students who are outside our 40 mile radius or who have other limitations preventing them from attending physical classes, we offer the same courses on line through our web site:
Students are assigned a personalized web page where assignments are retrieved and a student folder where completed papers can be uploaded by the student for grading. Graded papers also appear here for the student to review.
